To Push It Deeper
One of the most important concepts in understanding why it is important to do homeopathy is the concept of suppression. Homeopathy deals with it better than any other science of medical care.
This is what suppression is all about.....
Suppression is when you take drugs that make the symptoms disappear but the ailment is not cured. Instead that ailment goes deeper into the body and becomes suppressed. 'Suppressed' means it can't express itself and it gets locked inside the body. And that's not a good place to have an ailment just hanging around. It needs to be brought back out, to be expressed so it can be healed properly.
Homeopaths believe there is nothing more important than un-suppressing. When colds and flus are suppressed with pharmaceutical substances, the body loses it ability to detoxify. And eventually fevers disappear and with that the body has lost its defenses. Often this is when a more serious condition arises.
